Srinagar, Nov 20 (KNO) : Expressing serious concern over the deteriorating condition of senior incarcerated resistance leader Shabir Ahmed Shah in Tihar Jail, New Delhi, APHC spokesman said under a well thought out plan, Kashmir’s resistance leaders are being subjected to political vendetta, which of late is taking a serious toll on the health of all the leaders lodged there. The APHC spokesman said besides Shabir Ahmed Shah, many other resistance leaders lodged in Tihar including Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam, Altaf Ahmed Fantoosh, Mehrajudin Kalwal, Ayaz Akbar, Peer Saifullah, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, Farooq Ahmed Dar and others are also suffering from multiple ailments and deprived from the medical aid which poses a serious threat to their life. The spokesman said New Delhi has curbed most of religious, social and political rights of people of Kashmir by using its military might and that with the each passing day, resistance leaders are barred from carrying out their social and religious duties, which reflects the oppressive mind-set of the government and its forces deployed here. The spokesman said Kashmir’s genuine and sacred movement will remain on till it reaches it reaches its goal. Meanwhile, on the directions of APHC chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq who is under continuous house detention, a delegation comprising Sufi Mushtaq Ahmed, Peer Ghulam Nabi, Advocate Yasir Dalal, Farooq Ahmed Saudagar, Sahil Ahmad and others visited the residence of martyred youth Mugees Ahmed Mir at Parimpora Srinagar and expressed sympathy and solidarity with his family members. In the meantime APHC spokesman has strongly condemned the frequent house detention of Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and barring him from carrying out his social, religious and political obligations as the worst form of oppressive tactics (KNO)
